The Birkenstock Kay PRO brings decades of orthopaedic expertise to the healthcare workplace. The upper is crafted from high-quality natural leather with a polyurethane coating that allows vapour to escape while regulating the internal foot climate — keeping feet cooler during long clinical shifts. The anatomically shaped Birkenstock soft footbed with suede lining distributes body weight evenly and supports the natural arch. A light polyurethane sole provides dependable slip resistance, encourages a natural rolling motion, and can be repaired to extend the life of the footwear. The unique dual-strap design features one strap fixed firmly to the shaft and a second that can fold back for quick access or be worn as an ankle strap for extra grip, thanks to a hidden side rivet. Tested in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2022.
